Amapola Inn Vieques
WELCOME!

"Amapola" is the Spanish name for the tropical flower, hibiscus. You will see a variety of colors of the amapola surrounding our Inn and dotting the Vieques landscape. Hummingbirds are particularly attracted to the bright red variety. The Inn's central sitting area invites guests to enjoy a board game and good conversation, and opens to a wide and secluded courtyard sheltered by banana, coconut and palm trees.

Amapola Inn is under new ownership and our accommodations are fresh and new, offering tropical decor and ambiance. Each of our 5 guesthouse rooms features a queen size bed, air conditioning with ceiling fan, and spacious full bath. There are also three (3) Studio Apartments with different sized beds. Cots are available for additional occupancy. Amapola can also confirm your auto or scooter rental with advance notice.

Amapola’s elegantly casual, oceanfront restaurant, Bilí features  Puerto Rican style food with a flair. Our meals are prepared by Eva Bolivar of the Culinary Institute of America. Menus are subject to change.

Puerto Rican cuisine, including rice and beans, and other popular local dishes are always available, and dishes are served to order. Make sure to save room for coffee and dessert--ice cream or a local pastry favorite.

Amapola’s full and friendly bar invites Viequenses and visitors to share animated and lighthearted conversation. Enjoy the sound of salsa with an exotic tropical drink, including our namesake, "Amapola," or other enticing concoctions.

Bilí Restaurant also provides the catering for your special events such as wedding receptions or private parties, in-house or remotely. Let us assist you in creating a truly original and memorable occasion.
