Dining at Chez Shack is a must do experience. As the advertisements say it's "where the elite meet to eat"!

If you're in Vieques and you miss Chez Shack, you've missed an experience that pales Bio Bay. Hugh Duffy, the owner, runs a wildly eclectic establishment. Everybody is having so much fun that it's hard sometimes to tell the difference between the locals and those from away. Everybody drops in, or at least anyone who is anybody.

The food is always great whether it's Grill Night or an irregular night the cook staff will blow you away. Whether it's the now famous Caribbean Crab Cakes, the ribs, steak or tuna, it's all first class. He also has one of the most extensive wine selections on the island.

Chez Shack is an enjoyable dining experience and Duffy is piece of the islands' living history.

You will want to call for reservations, as you probably won't be seated without.
