Policy for ownership transfer and
Website Advertising Renewal and Removal
established 8/3/2009

1. Starting on August 3, 2009, all advertising is transferable to new owners.
    
2. It is the new owner's responsibility to notify me of this change.
   
    
3. A transfer of an advertisement on my website is on an "as is" basis. By that I mean that the website is acceptable to the new owner as is, without making any changes.
   
    
4. All web pages contained within Enchanted-Isle.Com, i.e., on my server, are considered owned by the party of record for invoicing.
   
    
5. All webpages contained within Enchanted-Isle.Com server are the property of the owner of Record, i.e., the party invoiced. Their pages, mostly created by me, can be requested at any time to be sent to the party of record, or their designated representative. This must be requested by the party of record through a known email address, which provides digital signature by said email request. It can also be requested by mail at my mail address.
   
    
6. I require for my records a transfer of ownership authorization by the previous owner, referencing the new owner and an email address of the new owner, so that I can confirm the authorization pursuant to the conditions herein outlined.
   
    
7. New client has the option at purchase of declining the transfer of an existing webpage hosted on my site in order to start with a fresh, new page, with a new name, new images and new text. Accepting this step 7 will allow a limited time frame during which one of the following three options may be implemented. Options 1 and 2 do not allow client to access the webpage to make changes and maintenance must be done by Enchanted-Isle.Com.
   
    

   Option 1)
   That new page includes 500 to 1,000 words of text, contact information, and 5 images for the content area and 1 new image for the header. All "final and corrected" text and images must be submitted digitally. This page shall be built by Enchanted-Isle.Com, and posted at the satisfaction of the owner. The cost is the posted present rate is for sub-hosted sites and pages on Enchanted-Isle.Com, the first page design is free, and included for any client, the yearly fee is for hosting and advertising.
   
   Option 2)
   The new owner can design his own site to be hosted on Enchanted-Isle.Com. This site can be up to 3 pages of content with up to 15 images and an image header. If a form is included, it must either be externally hosted or converted to email "send to." Sites must be constructed in html, or xhtml, flash is allowed, but no other server based technology, i.e., asp, php, cfm, etcetera.
   
   Option 3)
   New owner can choose the new site option to be externally hosted and pay only an advertising fee based on the posted, present rate for a "sitelink." This requires client/advertiser/site owner to build/host his site externally and require only an advertising link from the appropriate directories.

8. Should a client choose to remove their links and'or webpage from inclusion on the website at any time, there will be no rebate of monies, All ads are taken or full term and at full price, no matter when the decision is made to remove the ad by the client.

This policy is subject to change without notice and is evolving as I write this. As always, Iw ill do my best to make this process as transparent as possible so as to disturb clients.

I have always dealt in the past without signed contracts and only a handshake, digital or in person, but the times change, and I guess I need to also.
